It is important to have in mind the difficulty of the terrain and the fact that these are semi-self-sufficient races. Tenerife Bluetrail 100M by UTMB® is not an event for beginners in trail running. For this reason, the organisation recommends having a UTMB® Index, that means a level of performance, of at least 410 in the 100M race category. This is the value at which the cut-off times are calculated . With an UTMB® Index below this figure it is very likely that the runner will not be able to pass the cut-off barriers as he/she will not be able to comply with the established times. So it is advisable not to register for the Tenerife Bluetrail 100M, with a UTMB® Index below 410. The organisation is very strict with the fulfillment of the maximum hourly barriers of passage.

For security and control reasons, the registration is nominal and non-transferable. It is not allowed to transfer the registration to another race or another person, whatever the reason. Therefore, in case of not being able to attend, the runner must process the cancellation through the enabled channels.
